May, Goldpac Technical Center was authorized as Key Enterprise Technical Center of Zhuhai City.April, the GXP4 (high-end CPU card based on Java platform) was tested by the Bank Card Test Center as a new EMV product.

2008 May, Shanghai perso center began operation, with a plant of over 1500 square meters digital printing for cards. March, provided the first financial card of environmentally friendly materials in China for Bank of Communications. 2006 We won the EMV migration projects of DBS Bank, Citibank, and Bank of China (Intl), as a leader in Hongkong EMV migration market. December 13, won the "Top Hong Kong investment enterprise" Award by Zhuhai city. October, became the only card manufacturer awarded High–quality Service Award by Ministry of Construction. September, established ISO14001 environment management system. August 12, the first American Express card in China was launched, which is from Goldpac. August 9, successfully developed dynamic code card. June, 100% passed product quality testing by Union Pay. January 9, the first EMV card in China provided by Goldpac for ICBC, successfully launched. January 9, Goldpac PBOC2.0 IC card passed the test by Bank Card Test Center.

2003 October, Certificated for Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2000 issued by BSI Goldpac International (Holding) Limited and Gemplus (France) established a joint-venture, named Gemplus Goldpac Group Limited, with 3 subsidiaries including Goldpac Secure-Card (Zhuhai) Ltd., Goldpac Data Solutions Limited and Goldpac（HK）Data Solutions Limited. The joint-venture was responsible for Gemplus non-telecom business in China.

1998 Won the biggest credit card order in China - 6 millions of the Great-Wall Card issued by Bank of China specially for the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of PRC. Completed the Anshan fuel card project, which included issuance system, business stage system, back-end system and terminal (POS) system, almost covering all processes of bank card business, and firstly applied the card conforming to the standards of financial IC card nationwide.

April 7, Mr. Lu Runting established Hong Kong Goldpac International (Holding) Linited in Hong Kong, with subsidiaries including Goldpac Bank Equipment Ltd., Goldpac Limited and Zhuhai Goldpac Trading Ltd., covering the business of cards manufacture and card issuance systems.
